July in the Station

It’s hard to believe it’s already July!  Time for BBQs, pools and beaches, and lots of outdoor activities!  Celebration! Church has a lot of different things planned for July, so check out our website (www.celebrationchurch.ca) for a list of all the events.  With some of the special events this month, our teaching schedule is a bit shorter than usual, so check out below what we will be learning this month!

This month we are talking about how Jesus teaches.

Here are the stories we are going to be reading this month:

  • Jesus taught from a boat (Luke 5:1-11)
  • Jesus Taught Zacchaeus (Luke 19:1-10)
  • Jesus calmed the Storm (Mark 4:1-2, 33-41)

There are so many great things to learn from these stories and the ways that Jesus taught different people in the Bible.  While we read through these stories with our children, we can teach them the importance of obeying God and modeling Jesus’ obedience.  This month, take advantage of these learning opportunities with your children regardless of how old they may be and show them practical ways to live out these lessons we learn from Jesus!
